The Research Review Committee (RRC) of the National Blood Transfusion Service has been delegated the tasks of Director, NBTS to review research proposals submitted for approval.
The research review committee comprises of the following members
- Dr Senarath Jayasekara (Senior CTP)
- Dr Anoja Herath (CTP- DGH Kalutara)
- Dr Namal Bandara (CTP- DGH Negombo)
- Dr Lawanya Wijesekara (CTP-TH Polonnaruwa)
- Dr Nandika Roshan (SMO-NBC)
- Mr. Saman Thilaka (SMLT)
- Mrs. Champika Perera (SGNO)

- Covering letter cosigned by research supervisor (if present) submitted to ETRU.
- Duly completed application form for RRC – NBTS – one hard copy submission to ETRU.
- Pdf version of application form for RRC – NBTS & covering letter to be emailed.
