The National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) conducted a webinar on Incident Management and Corrective Action on 04th July 2025, with the participation of 187 healthcare professionals from across Sri Lanka. The audience included Consultants, Medical Officers, Nursing Officers, Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs), and Public Health Laboratory Technicians (PHLTs) who joined both online and onsite at the National Blood Centre. The program focused on strengthening transfusion safety through the WHO-recommended Quality System Essentials (QSEs).
